This game was created because there weren’t very many good cryptogram applications out there.
Each puzzle is encoded from at least a moderately familiar quote, using one of over 8 substitution ciphers. We tried using other ciphers but the game was way too difficult. The resulting application is a fun mix of mystery, intrigue, and challenge.
Who knows, maybe in the future we’ll try to find a way to incorporate the more complex ciphers again–till then, you have Spy Words.
